JPMorgan and Credit Suisse held onto the top spots for best par and distressed desks, respectively, in CIN's 2006 Best Trading Desk survey. For the fifth year in a row, JPMorgan was also named Best Overall Trading Group at the awards held last Tuesday at the Union League Club. While the two top spots might have held tight, there was plenty of movement to keep things interesting, with Citigroup jumping from fourth to second on the par side and Goldman Sachs moving from fifth to third in distressed.
