Polls and Awards

The GlobalCapital European Securitization Awards 2020: the winners

GlobalCapital is pleased to announce the winners of its annual European Securitization Awards

European Securitization Awards Dinner 2020

The second annual event honoured the banks, issuers, investors, rating agencies and service providers that performed most impressively over the course of 2019. Last year’s event saw an incredible turnout in the polls, and was exceeded this year, with over 3,000 individual votes recorded.

The poll took place alongside an extensive pitch process that saw 13 banking institutions pitch for awards in the categories of Best Securitization Bank of the Year, Portfolio Solutions House of the Year and Best Securitization Deal of the Year.

GlobalCapital would like to thank all who attended the awards in London and who took the time to participate in the poll and the pitch process. We truly appreciate your support for this event and hope to see you all next year.

Last year

  • GlobalCapital European Securitization Awards 2019

GlobalCapital hosted its first annual European securitization awards in London on Wednesday, March 13.

It was the first time GlobalCapital has hosted these awards since before the financial crisis. The turnout, we think, was outstanding. The publication received nominations over a month long period. These, combined with review among market participants in Europe and GlobalCapital's own research, were used to compile a shortlist of three nominees in each category. The voting for the winners took place over another month.

    Winners of 2019
