The awards recognise the most impressive transactions across equity capital markets, debt capital markets and loan syndication, as well as the best investment banks in the region.
This year, GlobalCapital is taking a new approach to its awards, combining a market poll with pitch meetings to determine the standout deals and houses in Asia.
Stage one:
Banks should submit their written pitches for the best deals and best house awards by October 14, 2022.
The aim of the written submission is to allow each bank, in its own words, to tell the story of its achievements, innovation and performance during the awards period, backed up where relevant by supporting data from Dealogic, as well as client testimonials.
Stage two:
Once submissions are received, our team of journalists will shortlist a list of up to five candidates across each of the different deal award categories.
These shortlists will be publicly disclosed and put to a market vote through a poll that will open in early November. More details around the poll and its rules will be disclosed when polling begins.
Stage three:
The best deals will be decided through the market poll, in combination with editorial research.
The best bank awards will be determined based on pitch meetings or calls to take place between mid-October and mid-November with GlobalCapital’s senior editorial team.
The results of the poll and the winners of the best house awards will be revealed in January 2023.
The awards period runs from November 1, 2021, to October 31, 2022.
We will accept supplementary written pitches for deals that are priced after the banks submit their pitch as long as they fall within the awards period.
