European panic at the core of volatile year for SSAs

Unprecedented: for three years, almost all important developments in capital markets have been accompanied by that adjective. It is beginning to sound as tired as headlines about Greek tragedies, farces, dramas and Herculean tasks but there is no other way to describe the year that sovereign, supranational and agency borrowers have had since January.
