Akbank rediscovers full gamut of funding options
Akbank’s path through the financial crisis was far smoother than that of just about any other similarly-sized bank in Europe. But, as Paul Wallace reports, it was perhaps not until August that Turkey’s biggest publicly listed company could claim the crisis was finally over — at least as far as borrowing in international debt markets was concerned.
