Retail bonds split issuers down the middle

With initiatives such as the London Stock Exchange’s Orb platform, borrowers can sell more of their bonds to retail investors than ever before. But as Jon Hay reports, while investors seem keen, a lot of issuers are put off by having to comply with EU regulations, especially the Prospectus Directive.
