SSA market coasts through crises
A European sovereign debt crisis, an earthquake in Japan and unrest in the Middle East and North Africa are all events that in previous years would have closed markets for days, if not weeks. But this year, sovereign, supranational and agency issuers have sailed through their borrowing programmes, seemingly immune to the disasters going on around them. Jo Richards reports.
