Schwartz returns to Goldman as Asia chair

Mark Schwartz, the former chief executive of Soros Fund Management, has returned to Goldman Sachs, where he worked for more than twenty years. The bank has hired Schwartz as its new chairman for Asia Pacific, and is bucking convention by basing him in Beijing.
