A burst of IPO issuance in the last quarter of the year saved the EMEA equity capital markets from an almost total wash-out for 2012. But even though volume was at its lowest for a decade, bankers are hopeful of recovery given a fair macroeconomic wind in 2013, writes Andrew Griffin.
