Dream funding for companies as EU steps back from brink
Things look gloomy for the world economy, and especially for Europe’s. But when it comes to borrowing costs, blue chip companies have never had it so good. Banks and bond investors are throwing money at them for paltry yields. As Jon Hay writes, investors feel a Eurozone collapse is now much less likely, and see the corporate sector as safe hands in which to place their cash.
