I don’t know if it’s the increasing regulation, shrinking bonuses or just something in the air, but investment bankers have become a right miserable bunch. With the summer lull in full flow and the sun finally shining in Hong Kong I was out for some early afternoon drinking with a group of friends — looking forward to some good banter and industry gossip. But all they did was moan.
