Bank capitalisation in Algeria

The Council of Currency and Credit, following its meeting held under the chairmanship of the Bank of Algeria's governor, Mohamed Laksaci, announced its approval for four banks to increase their capital. These banks have increased their capital to comply with the regulators guidelines of having a capital of 2.5 billion Algerian Dinars ($33.7 million) . News agency APS reported that the four banks to receive the Council's approval are CNMA Bank (National agricultural mutuality Fund), Gulf Bank Algeria , Trust Bank-Algeria and Housing Bank for Trade and Finance-Algeria
