For the third year in a row, GlobalCapital China will recognise the accomplishments of the leading players in the renminbi debt capital markets, both onshore and offshore.
These awards represent the culmination of GlobalCapital’s coverage of mainland China’s rapidly developing capital markets. They will recognise the best deals, firms and innovations, as well as identify the individual who has made the biggest contribution to the development of the market over the last 12 months — an exceptionally difficult period for China’s capital markets.
We will decide awards in the following categories:
DCM:
Best Panda bond house
Best bank for ABS
Issuers*:
Most impressive FIG issuer
Most impressive corporate issuer
Most impressive SSA issuer
Service provider:
Best bank for securities services
Special awards**:
Most impressive market innovation
Person of the year
Note:
* The issuer awards will largely focus on China’s onshore market, considering both foreign and domestic issuers. But deals from Chinese issuers in the offshore markets, including dollars, euros and dim sum, will also be taken into consideration.
** The two special awards will not be pitched. They will be decided entirely by our editorial committee.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Each firm, in its own words, should tell us the story of its achievements, innovations and performance over the past 12 months, backed up where relevant by supporting data.
Each firm must submit a written submission for each award category that draws attention to some of the highlights of your performance under consideration in that area. You should make just one submission per category.
All submissions must be no longer than five sides of A4 paper, either in PDF or Word formats. They should also include the name, title and contact details of individuals within the bank who can respond to requests for further details from the editorial committee.
Once submissions are received, our team of editors and journalists will shortlist candidates in each category before arranging pitch meetings and calls with the firms. After that, our team will analyse these in conjunction with our own market research before decisions are made by the editorial committee.
You have until November 9 to make your submissions. The awards period runs from November 16, 2019 to November 15, 2020. We will accept supplementary written pitches for deals that are priced after banks submit their pitches and which fall in the awards period. We may then follow up with a further discussion.
The winners will be announced on the GlobalCapital website in December.
