The Bond Awards are recognised as the only comprehensive Awards for performance in the international bond markets which are based on voting by issuers, investment banks, investors and other market participants. This means they reflect the market’s opinion of which borrowers, banks and other players were most impressive in how they handled markets and innovated within them.
The poll is open until May 13 and GlobalCapital will announce the winners on June 22 at our Gala Dinner — the Wednesday night of the Global Borrowers conference.
We are asking market participants to judge performances from April 1 2021 to March 31 2022. We allow for one vote per institution.
We’ve updated our list of categories this year to reflect how markets have evolved — those who follow our Awards closely will notice, for example, a growing ESG influence. Tech also plays a bigger part.
The poll has five parts: Supranational, Sovereign and Agency; Financial Institution; Corporate; High Yield; and Emerging Markets Bonds.
Investment banks vote for the best issuers and issuers for the best banks. Other market participants can also vote, and there are awards for the best issuers, rating agencies, law firms and other market participants. In the emerging markets poll, banks are also invited to vote for the best banks.
We’ve designed the survey so that you will be only shown categories relevant to you, based on your role and function. However, a full list of the categories is below for your reference.
