Based on the raw data for this year’s awards there are only six votes splitting the top three in the category for Best Pioneering Deal.
Just two votes separate the top two candidates for Best ESG Deal, both of which are banks from within the eurozone.
Meanwhile, there are only five votes between the top three candidates for Deal of the Year, of which two are outside the eurozone.
Two issuers are vying for the Best Euro Issuer award and, with a difference of only three votes between them, the outcome is in the balance.
Polling to decide the Best Investor of the Year is even closer. A single vote separates the top two institutions.
In the lead manager awards, there are only three votes between the top two candidates for Best Non-euro Lead Manager.
For most other lead manager award categories, a clearer picture of the potential winners is beginning to emerge. However, we would again stress that this information is based purely on the raw vote — meaning that this information does not take into account eligibility rules — as outlined in the survey.
