In her new job, Calvetti will oversee a team that Eurizon has been building up since 2019, originally under the leadership of Simone Chelini, who left in February 2020 for a similar role at Fideuram Investimenti.
At Deutsche, Calvetti was head of ESG debt capital markets throughout EMEA and head of corporate origination in Italy.
She officially took up the ESG leadership role there in April 2020, though she had previously already coordinated Deutsche's ESG activities across DCM in the region since November 2019 and had been a green bond product champion before that.
