A little over three years since its foundation in France, the Euro Private Placement market has made a strong mark on Europe’s corporate financing landscape. Market participants are excited by the idea that Europe could develop its own PP market to rival the US. But as Olivier Holmey reports, there is a long way to go legally, and if banks splurge out loans too easily, the market could be washed away.
