Hungarian firms bring energy back to CEE’s flagging loan market
The pin-drop quiet of the Central and Eastern European loan market was broken this week by the sounds of not one but two Hungarian energy companies ramping up plans to come to market. The deals fly in the face of economic challenges for the country as well as oil market upheaval, but could take advantage of the lack of deals elsewhere in the region and a widely presumed absence of most Russian borrowers in 2015.
