France out to shake off sick man of Europe tag

France desperately needs strong reforms and political will to kickstart its economy. But while the right noises are being made — a volley of labour, tax and public spending reforms have been fired out of government in recent months — there remains deeply entrenched scepticism that the country will not deliver on these promises.
