Deutsche Bank has hired Vaughn Adnams, equity derivatives salesman at Merrill Lynch in London, and Michael Cameron, in equity derivatives sales atSociété Générale, also in London, for its institutional derivatives group, according to Jason Good, global head of institutional derivatives.
Adnams will report to Tim Hart, managing director in institutional derivatives in EMEA, and focus on derivative products to institutions and hedge funds in the EMEA time zone. Cameron will be based in New York, and will market U.S. dollar products to non-domestic clients. On the ground, Cameron will report to Ed Coury, managing director in institutional derivatives for the Americas. As derivatives products grow more complex it makes increasing sense to seat salesmen with traders, and this has been Deutsche Bank's strategy in London for the last two years, Good explained.
