Merrill Lynch has landed a head of EMEA structured credit marketing in the form of Adam Dixon, latterly heading structured credit marketing to German, Austrian and Swiss financial institutions at JPMorgan in London. Separately, Moez Ben-Zid, a managing director in the same group, has exited Merrill.
Dixon did not return calls to his cell, but Alex Walker, Merrill spokeswoman, said he will report to Paul Horvath, head of structured credit product sales. She did not say if it was a new position.
As first reported on DW's Web site, market officials said Ben-Zid resigned two weeks ago. Ben-Zid, who could not be reached, was responsible for marketing into France and also reported to Horvath, who was traveling and did not respond to emails about both posts by press time.
Ben-Zid joined Merrill last year from JPMorgan with Malik Chaabouni, who quit in February for a senior structured credit role at Deutsche Bank. It could not be determined where Ben-Zid is headed. Dixon left JPMorgan last month and has been replaced by Daniel Theurkauf, v.p. (DW, 4/21).
