Under pressure sterling battles against the elements

While issuance in the sterling market by supranationals and agencies has recently been more subdued than in previous years, it would be wrong to write the currency off. Its strategic importance means sterling remains a key market for the most frequent borrowers, which will always need diverse sources of funding. Natalie Feary reports.
