Poster boy VimpelCom leads the way

Russia’s VimpelCom gave a lesson in how to tap the international bond markets at the start of this year, selling a blow-out bond that garnered so much demand it pulled the borrower’s curve in sharply. But the international markets are not just for well established, global players. Investors are increasingly tuned in to the attractions on offer from a variety of borrowers, big and small.
