Follow the money: investors eye liquidity and opportunity
It has been a tumultuous year so far for the CEEMEA region, but the emerging markets overall have continued to grow in strength, with investors still impressed by the macroeconomic fundamentals and low levels of external debt that the region offers. Despite the political and civil turmoil of the Middle East crisis, instead of fleeing from CEEMEA, investors have picked sectors and countries carefully. In the following emerging markets investor roundtable that took place in April in London, seven investors in the region and two sell side officials discuss the sector’s outlook for the year ahead and the ways they decide how to allocate money and resources.
