Cash-rich but cautious: corporates look for growth
2012 could be the year when companies stop hoarding cash and put it to work. With bank deposit rates and high grade corporate funding costs at all-time lows, CEOs would love to start investing and generating top line growth, writes Nina Flitman. At the same time, they are still anxious about the economic outlook and many will keep investment muted and cash high until it improves.
