Awash with easy money, investors wait for the upturn
Where can investors put money to earn a return in 2013? After 2012’s stupendous rally, much of the credit spectrum is now yielding so little it only does the job of government bonds — capital preservation. As Jon Hay reports, if you want to make a return after inflation, you have to look further afield — to less liquid assets or ones with more upside potential, like equities. Just when investors do that will be one of the big questions of 2013.
