The BondMarker voters scored six benchmarks from issuers across the SSA spectrum, all but one of which achieved an average of over eight, and the Province of Ontario fell short by only a 10th of a point.
However, within the six deals, different borrowers received praise for different aspects of their transaction. Belgium's $1.5bn three year and Bpifrance's €700m 2024 tap received the highest scores of the week for pricing. Ontario received one of the weakest grades for pricing but the top score for the structure/maturity of its $2bn five year.
SNCF Réseau, which received the highest average score of the week, was praised particularly for its performance and timing, but received the lowest score for its pricing.
